Heat Pipe Technology

Capture of solar radiation and heat exchange with the water of the primary circuit.

The solar radiation falls on the absorption layer of the vacuum tube and is transmitted to a copper superconducting tube, which is inside the vacuum tube (known as a heat-pipe) that contains a small amount of vaporizing fluid (a mixture of water and alcohol with a very low boiling point), which is heated and evaporated by moving to the upper part of the superconducting tube (in which there is lower temperature) achieving through a copper pipette transfer the heat to the water of the primary circuit .

The heat exchange is carried out without direct contact (dry connection) between the heat transfer fluid and the consumption water.

This high performance pressurized collector based on Heat Pipe technology is ideal for heating sanitary water (bathrooms, showers, kitchen) as well as for heating homes through radiating tiles or tempering swimming pools.

For better architectural integration, this pressurized system requires the location of the hot water tank, separate from the H2Sol pressurized manifolds, for heating the domestic water.

By not having an integrated storage tank can be easily placed on the roof.

System Operation

Advantage

High performance, thanks to the high temperatures reached by the “heat pipes” added to the decrease in thermal losses due to the vacuum exerted, which guarantees its operation on cloudy days or at low temperatures.

High-quality and corrosion-resistant materials such as borosilicate glass, stainless steel and copper, with great safety in operation, long life and minimal maintenance.

Great versatility, since the high temperatures obtained make it possible to apply both in domestic use (hot water, heating and swimming pools) and in industrial use.

Supports pressures of up to 9 bar. which makes the location less problematic in reference to other non-pressurized systems.

It works even with some broken tube, since the water of consumption never enters this one.
